Over 100 artists, thousands of soldiers and a military airbase as final destination; this Saturday everything will come together. Prepare yourself for a huge first edition of AIRFORCE Festival, read the final information below.
General information and opening hours
AIRFORCE Festival 2016 takes place on August 6th from 12:00PM (noon) until 00:00 (midnight). With a valid ticket, you can enter the festival until 10:00PM. It’s not possible to leave and re-enter the festival.

Tickets
Tickets for AIRFORCE Festival 2016 are still available at airforcefestival.com/tickets. There will be a limited amount of tickets available at the door for €55. These tickets will also remain available online.
Is it possible to scan tickets from a mobile phone?
Yes, it is possible to scan tickets from a mobile phone. However please take into account that the internet connection is not always stable, so we advise you to download your ticket beforehand on your mobile. Also make sure your screen is set to maximum brightness.
Minimum age
The minimum age for AIRFORCE Festival 2016 is 18 years. This means you need to be 18 years of older at the day of the event. We won’t make any exceptions on this. Make sure you bring a valid ID card. No ID means no entrance!
Lockers
There will be enough e-lockers available at the event. The e-locker online presale has stopped, if you bought an e-locker online you should have received your locker number and PIN code by email.
Travel
Public transport
Use the website 9292.nl to plan your trip. We highly recommend to plan your return trip in advance.
Shuttle service
There is a shuttle service between Enschede train station and AIRFORCE Festival. Check our travel page for more information about the shuttle buses. We highly recommend to buy your shuttle bus tickets in presale.
Car and parking
The Military Air Base Twenthe is located at Vliegveldweg 345, 7524 PT Enschede. Check our travel page for directions and information about the parking. We highly recommend to buy your parking tickets in presale.
Kiss & ride
When dropped off or picked up by a friend or taxi, please make sure to follow the ‘Kiss & Ride’ signs. There are no other possibilities in the area to be dropped of or picked up.
Bus tours
Didn’t arrange your transport yet? Check our travel page for an overview of our bus partners and book a comfortable and organized bus trip.
Organizing your own bus trip to the event? Sign up and tell us: bus company, number persons, number of coaches, expected arrival time, buss parking yes/no. You will receive all the required information to get to, and possibly park at, AIRFORCE Festival. Within 3 days before the event all information will be sent by e-mail.
Live broadcast
The UNITY and Hellfire area of AIRFORCE Festival will be streamed live at Hardcore Radio and UNITY radio (audio only).
ATM
Tokens can be payed with bankcard or cash. Make sure to bring enough cash since there’s no ATM on the festival site.
Merchandise
There will be brand new AIRFORCE Festival merchandise and artist merchandise available at the festival. Head over to our merchandise stand and expand your collection!
Zero tolerance
The drugs policy at AIRFORCE Festival is zero-tolerance. This means that all types of soft- and hard drugs are not allowed.
Protect your ears
You have only got one pair of ears, so be careful with those. Make sure you wear hearing protection. Also don’t stand to close by speakers, because you can suffer from hearing loss afterwards. At the Lost & Found stand and ice cream stands you can buy hearing protection.
Lost & found
Did you lose something? Or did you find someone’s phone, bankcard or ID? Then you can return them at the information stands on the festival site. You can also come to the information stands if you have any questions. Tip: put your personal data on your belongings. Then you’ll be easily traceable if we find something.
